Center Support and Planetary One-way Clutch






Refer to Fig. 53.

Disassembly

1. Remove the center support from the planetary carrier. Rotate the center support counterclockwise and lift to remove.
2. Carefully remove the planetary one-way clutch from the planetary assembly.

Assembly

1. If necessary, assemble the one-way clutch as shown in Fig. 54.
2. Install the one-way clutch in the planetary carrier.
3. Install the center support into the one-way clutch by rotating the center support counterclockwise. Lubricating the clutch races and the clutch assembly with petroleum jelly may aid in assembly.
