Brake Master Cylinder: Description and Operation
Master Cylinder:

The dual master cylinder contains a double hydraulic cylinder with two fluid reservoirs, and primary and secondary hydraulic pistons.
The dual master cylinder performs in the following manner:
Rear wheel brakes - are connected to the secondary outlet port and are actuated by the secondary piston assembly.
Front wheel brakes - are connected to the primary outlet port (nearest the dash panel) and are actuated by the primary piston assembly.
Both primary and secondary pistons function together.
